What about some country-core from Brazil ? What about Ramones turning to rockabilly ? What about a label giving us something else than the usual wall-of-sound-mosh-metal-madness ?

Well i got something like this here ! This "Barulho Hardcore Company" is a small label operating in Curitiba, south of Brazil, and this is its 3d product. Keep in mind that "barulho" means something like "noise", or "row"... and here are 6 rather noisy bands from Curitiba, Rio and São Paulo, presenting us no less than 35 songs.

The first 5 are from PELEBROI NÃO SEI, something like the local Ramones with an extra 50's rock'n'roll taste. Pretty surprising, but great ! Then come 7 songs from NO STAND CREW, good stuff but much too close to the original US sXe to be really great. BOOBARELLAS are more into fast paced punkrock, in the vein of your usual melodic u.s. stuff, with lyrics sung in portuguese (which makes a difference). Then, 3 songs from a band sounding like Instigators mixed with J-Church. This band's name is BLUE SENSE, their only failing is a vocal part in english. Watch out for them ! The fifth band is my favourite : MATANZA have found a unique country-punk mix to play. Fast, original, catchy stuff ! Hats off ! Last, but not least, STAPLES is an all-girl band playing an excellent pop punk music. Seems that they've already started to get known abroad.

Well that's it, why wait ? Don't you know the label has already sold most copies ? Buy this record fast !
